PCPC looks for ways to help new WMCI employees

TORRINGTON – During the quarterly meeting of the Prison Community Partnership Committee (PCPC), Steve Hargett, warden at the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institute (WMCI), asked the committee for its help in developing ways to reach out to new employees and improve the odds that those employees, especially those moving to Torrington from outside the state, will remain at the prison for the long term.

“Not only are we (WMCI) the largest employer in Goshen County, but we have thousands of dollars invested in every employee at the prison,” Hargett said.
