TORRINGTON – The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced two weeks ago the Wyoming Ethanol plant in Torrington will pay $49,000 in penalties for violations related to risk management and chemical reporting requirements.
The violations are associated with the use of hazardous chemicals and the failure to appropriately report chemicals used on site, which breaks federal right-to-know laws, according to an EPA press release.
