TORRINGTON – It is no secret that the economy is not in the greatest shape, but what challenges have local schools had to face due to the poor economic conditions?
According to information provided by Community Builders Inc. (CBI), the Goshen County poverty rate of about 17 percent in 2011 was well above the national and state averages; the national average was 15.9 percent, and the Wyoming state average was 11.3 percent.
