Guest speaker talks business retention

TORRINGTON – According to Eric P. Canada of Blane, Canada Ltd., 76 percent of new jobs and capital investment in the average community will come from existing businesses. Businesses new to the area will contribute 15 percent, and business entrepreneurship will account for the remaining 9 percent.
