Lexie Madden reflects on Miss America

TORRINGTON – Lexie Madden stood on the stage in front of a packed audience – with millions more watching on TV – in Las Vegas for the Miss America pageant and was interviewed as one of the top five in the pageant and with a winner soon to be determined.

If she was nervous, it didn’t show, as the young Goshen County native aced the pressure-packed week during her journey to being named third runner-up in the event, the second-highest finish ever for a Miss Wyoming and best since 1948.
