Fort Laramie raises its water rates

FORT LARAMIE – The Fort Laramie Town Council passed the first reading of an ordinance to raise water rates approximately $4 for residents; the monthly base charge for water will cost $11.80 as opposed to the $7.80 previously paid.

Ordinance 250 is necessitated by new infrastructure projects upcoming for the town, Mayor Alexander Jankewicz said.
