Local students head to FFA competition

INDIANAPOLIS – Members of the Torrington/Lingle FFA Chapter in Wyoming were one of 34 teams participating in the National FFA Agronomy Career Development Event (CDE). The event was held in conjunction with the 85th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis.

The team, led by advisor Jason Groene, was awarded a Gold emblem. Members also competed for individual awards with 131 other participants. PD Miller received a Silver emblem, Nick Vetter received a Gold emblem, Barry Greenwald received a Silver emblem and B.W. Ochsner received a Silver emblem.
