Wyo. education agency job changes reviewed

CHEYENNE (AP) – Proposed job changes at the Wyoming Department of Education have caused a tussle between the agency and the governor’s office.

State schools Superintendent Cindy Hill wants to change about two dozen jobs to better reflect their duties and funding sources, which can be both state and federal. But Gov. Matt Mead has denied her request and ordered a review of the agency’s 150 jobs to make sure they are properly administered.
