GCTF thanks Rotary members for hard work

WGFD seeks info on elk poaching

LARAMIE, The Wyoming Game and Fish Department (WGFD) is seeking information on an elk poaching in Albany County off Rogers Canyon Road.
Deputies with the Albany County Sheriff's Office recently discovered the dead cow elk and reported it to the Game and Fish Department.

Olivia Faith Myers was born on Sept. 6, 2014 at 9:43 p.m. to Becky Oates and Noah Myers of Casper, and she weighed 5 pounds, 9 ounces and measured 20 inches. Siblings are Madeline, Nathan and Storie.
Grandparents include Debra Oates of Lingle, Charles Oates Sr. of Torrington and Tracie and Russ Wallace of Point Roberts, Wash.

Missing boater found

TORRINGTON, Deputies with the Goshen County Sheriff's Office (GCSO) recovered the body of a missing boater Saturday morning at Hawk Springs Reservoir.
Capital City Canine Search and Rescue out of Cheyenne discovered the body of Torrington resident James Nelson, 53, while conducting training exercises.

McCreery claims innocence in burglaries

TORRINGTON, A Torrington resident pled not guilty to two felony burglary charges at his arraignment Wednesday morning.
Evan McCreery, 29, is accused of illegally entering a residence along Rio Vista Road in Torrington and stealing money on Tuesday, Aug. 12 and Saturday, Aug. 16.
