I'm not a risk-taker. I don't like to drive fast, I chew my food thoroughly, and I don't take dares. Recently, however, I ventured into a dark forest, full of blood-sucking, disease-carrying arachnids (read: ticks), animal carcasses and thorns in search of an elusive, semi-toxic fungus for supper.
