WAC names Nesbitt to council’s artist roster

CHEYENNE, The Wyoming Arts Council board approved 10 Wyoming artists to be included in the council's artist roster, which serves as a resource for communities seeking artists for festivals, performances and other types of art programs. More than 60 artists will be featured on the 2015-2016 roster.

Kindergarten pre-registration begins next week at LFL

Public input needed for 2015 hunting seasons

LARAMIE, The Wyoming Game and Fish Department will conduct open houses and a public information gathering meeting in southeast Wyoming to discuss 2015 hunting season proposals for game birds and big game.
 During the open houses, Game and Fish personnel will be available to discuss the proposed 2015 hunting seasons for local hunt areas.

Teaming up for Taylor

Albers - A large crowd turned out for a warm Saturday, March 7 poker run, beginning in Torrington and running from Hawk Springs to Lingle and back, to benefit local teen Taylor Harshberger. The event culminated at the Goshen County Fairgrounds Rendezvous Center where residents bid in live and silent auctions and enjoyed a free-will donation meal.
