FORT LARAMIE – A petroleum rail loading facility is due for installation this year in Fort Laramie, which began a lengthy conversation amongst residents and the Fort Laramie Town Council at its regular meeting last week.
“We’re going to receive what’s called a petroleum rail loading facility, which is an automated facility that’s designed to load 88,000 barrels of oil per day into rail cars to be shipped out of this area,” resident Natalie Fullmer reported as a discussion item.
