LINGLE – Contrary to what many in town may have thought, Lingle Police Chief Endra Moen was not the one responsible for taking out the railroad crossing guard on Highway 156/157. Moen reported to the town council last Wednesday night that a farm vehicle towing a piece of equipment was responsible for the demise of the mechanical crossing guard.
Moen did spend several hours at the sight stopping traffic and ensuring everyone’s safety at the crossing.
